CLEP Exams

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) allows you to receive college credit by taking a standardized test over material covered in an introductory course. These examinations are given each month at West Virginia State University. The examinations are held on the second or third Friday of each month.

Your $70.00 (per test) payment in the form of a check, credit card, or money order made payable to CLEP, and a $15.00 (per test) service fee in the form of a check or money order payable to West Virginia State University (WVSU) will be collected on the test day. DO NOT include with registration form.

Test scores will be available upon completion of the examination. You may register on-line or a registration form can be mailed at your request by contacting the Career Services and Cooperative Education Office at (304) 766-3250 or pick up a registration form at 216 Wallace Hall.
