DANTES Standardized Subject Tests

The DSST tests allow you to receive college credit by taking a standardized test in a specific subject area. These tests are given each month at West Virginia State University. You may register on-line or a form stop by the Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education at 216 Wallace Hall to pick up a registration form.

The cost of each test is $70.00 plus an administration fee of $15.00. These fees will be collected on the test day. Do not include fees with your registration form. Test scores will be mailed by DANTES in four to six weeks. For more information about tests visit DSST Website.

                * In addition to a minimum score of 47 on the multiple choice test, an examinee must also receive a passing grade on the required speech section. A special test date/time will be scheduled for this test on an individual basis.
