If you have questions regarding your WV State Financial Aid, you may contact the Office of Financial Assistance or the Office of Student Retention for assistance. · FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid): All State students should file a FAFSA to receive any state or federal funds for which they are eligible. You can file online yourself through the FAFSA website, OR you can come to 327 Sullivan Hall East for staff assistance. · WVSU Scholarships for New and Continuing Students: The university has limited scholarship funds for academically successful students. New students can explore the possibilities through the Admissions Office website. Continuing students should look at the list of scholarships available in the university catalog (pages 120-132) and then submit the application by March 1st or October 1st to the Academic Affairs Office (131 Ferrell Hall).
